Research Work

The department has a rich tradition of quality research work  in various branches of  pure and applied mathematics.. At present, the  research is being conducted on the following topics : Algebra (Group theory, Ring theory, Representation Theory), Finite Geometry, Topology, Analysis,(Linear, Non-Linear and Wavelets) , Dynamical Systems, Differential Geometry, Differential Equations, Fluid Mechanics, Mathematical Ecology  and Mathematical Modelling.
