Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Differently Abled Students

The centre was established on 14 November 2009; Prof. R. K. Singh (Dean Student Welfare) was instrumental in the establishment of the centre. The centre was inaugurated by the ex-ViceChancellor of the university Prof. Rajen Harshe.

The Centre is an enabling unit for the physically challenged students of the university. It is equipped with the state of art Multimedia Lab with Digital Technologies and software for these students. At present more than 100 students are enrolled with the centre. Recently on the World Disabled Day (December, 3, 2012) several mobility devices were distributed to the students to facilitate their access to higher education.
